On Poincaré compactification and the projectivization of polynomial vector fields
Abstract:
The main purpose of this note is to clarify two commonly used notions, the Poincaré compactification and the projectivization, in the study of polynomial vector fields in $\mathbf{C}^n$. We show that these two notions are indeed equivalent.
