Conjugacy rigidity for flat Finsler metrics

This note is concerned with the rigidity property from the viewpoint of geodesic conjugacy for flat Finsler metrics. We establish that if any Finsler metric $F$ on a closed manifold is $\mathcal{C}^1$-conjugate to a flat metric and has vanishing $S$-curvature, then $F$ must be flat.
